pkttest
A command of the separate bcma command line; see Commands for other chip families.
Packet IO performance test.
pkttest <subcmd> [options]
Built-in help
This command can be used to measure either Rx packet performance or Tx
packet performance. The options supported for each type of performance
test is shown below.
RX - Rx performance test for Packet IO.
Time=<value> - The test duration for each
packet length (default=2).
LengthStart=<value> - The start packet length (default=64).
LengthEnd=<value> - The end packet length (default=1536).
LengthInc=<value> - The increasing step of packet length.
(default=64).
IncludePmd=<value> - Include PMD to statistics for PKTDMA
performance evaluating. (default=0).
RunMode=<value> - The run mode for loopback setting:
mac|edb|none, (default=mac).
TX - Tx performance test for Packet IO.
SendCount=<value> - The number of packets to be sent for
each packet length (default=50000).
LengthStart=<value> - The start packet length (default=64).
LengthEnd=<value> - The end packet length (default=1536).
LengthInc=<value> - The increasing step of packet length
(default=64).
IncludePmd=<value> - Include PMD to statistics for PKTDMA
performance evaluating. (default=0).
RunMode=<value> - The run mode for loopback setting:
mac|edb|none, (default=none).
