pkttrace

A command of the separate bcma command line; see Commands for other chip families.

Inject a trace packet and get trace data.

pkttrace [options]

Built-in help

This command is used to inject a trace packet with a masquerade port
into the ingress pipeline. The packet will be treated as if coming
from the masquerade port. The packet's forwarding information in the
ingress pipeline will be captured and displayed.

If the PArseOnly option is specified, no packet will be injected, and
the Data parameter will instead be parsed as raw trace output.

Options:
LeaRN=yes|no - Enable learning on trace packet.
NoIFP=yes|no - Disable ingress FP lookup on trace packet.
DropTm=yes|no - Drop trace packet in TM.
PArseOnly=yes|no - Skip packet injection and simply parse raw
                         data.
InjectOnly=yes|no - Perform packet injection without trace data
                         extraction from device.
NetifID=<value> - Network interface to use for packet injection.
Port=<portid> - Masquerade port for trace packet.
Len=<value> - Length of the packet, including header,
                         possible tag, and CRC.
Data=<packet> - Hex string to be used as raw packet data.
Will be parsed as trace output if PArseOnly=yes.
