BIST

Run on-chip memory built-in self tests

BIST

Run the chip’s built-in self-test (BIST) on the listed memories. Use listmem to see which memories support BIST. The name CBP stands for all CBP memories. Failures print BIST failed: <reason>. The timeout is set with btimeout.

Warning

BIST overwrites the memories it tests, and those hold the forwarding state syncd programmed. Run it only on a switch out of service, and restart syncd afterwards.
