Push an entry onto a FIFO

PUSH

Put an entry into a hardware FIFO memory.

Warning

Whatever drains the FIFO acts on the pushed entry. For L2_MOD_FIFO that is the SDK’s L2 code in syncd, which would process a made-up L2 event.

Grammar: push [quiet] [<COUNT>] <TABLE> { <DW0> .. <DWn> | <FIELD>=<VALUE> ... }. The built-in help leaves out the entry data, but it is required (ERROR: missing data for entry to push). The same restrictions as for POP apply.

Parameters: [quiet] [<COUNT>] <TABLE>
The quiet option indicates not to complain on FIFO full.
