StackPortGet

Get stacking characteristics of a port

StackPortGet

Shortest form: spg.

Show the stacking flags of one port, or of every stack port of the unit. With Port the command prints Stack flags for unit <u>, port <p>: (0x<flags>) followed by the names of the set flags, in the same format as STACKMode. Without Port it prints one such block for each stack port. A switch that is not stacked has no stack ports, so nothing is printed. Port together with a negative Unit is refused with ERROR: Can't specify port with unit < 0.

The built-in help says that Unit=<n> below zero lists all local devices. Without Port, the shell actually lists the stack ports of the current unit and ignores Unit.

The command is read-only. Port takes a port name; the output shows the logical port number (Port=xe0 prints port 9). On a SONiC switch every port reports (0x20) with only none set.
