TMDumpMem

TM dump memories

TMDumpMem

Shortest form: tmdm.

Dump the Tomahawk 3 MMU memory entries that belong to one port or one queue, across all MMU instances. The command is present on Trident 3 builds too, but it only works on Tomahawk 3.

Warning

Do not run tmdumpmem on a Trident 3 switch. It does not check the chip type. It runs Tomahawk 3 code against the TD3 unit, which can fail or crash syncd. On Tomahawk 3 it is read-only.

The grammar is tmdumpmem [-index] <port | queue | uc_cos | mc_cos> <memory_name> <port> [<queue>]. The built-in help shows <port/queue> <memory_name> <port> <queue>. Keywords must be typed in full, and numbers are decimal. -index prints only Memory: <mem> index: <n> lines instead of the entries.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmdumpmem
TMDumpMem port <memory_name> <port>

Dump every instance of a port-based MMU memory at the given logical port. A memory that is not port-based prints Memory: "<mem>" is not port based. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated — Replace <memory_name> with a Tomahawk 3 MMU memory

drivshell> tmdumpmem -index port <memory_name> 1
TMDumpMem queue <memory_name> <port> <queue>

Dump a queue-based MMU memory at an absolute queue number. uc_cos and mc_cos take a unicast or multicast CoS number instead of the queue. A port of -1 is allowed. Bad numbers print Invalid Uc_cos number provided, Invalid mc_cos number provided or Invalid Queue number. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated — Replace <memory_name> with a Tomahawk 3 MMU memory

drivshell> tmdumpmem uc_cos <memory_name> 1 0
