Cycle packets through selected system

SystemSnake

Shortest form: ss.

Send test packets in a loop (“snake”) through the whole system. This works only on certain Broadcom reference platforms with HiGig cables looped back. On other systems, SONiC switches included, it prints This test only runs on certain platforms. and the configuration variables that would identify a supported platform.

systemsnake [Duration=<s>] [CheckInterval=<s>] [Mode=MAC|PHY|EXT] [Speed=MAX|10|100|1000|2500|10G]

Two more options are accepted but not in the built-in help: Verbose (on/off) and LengthIncrement=<n>.

Warning

On a supported platform the test reconfigures ports and floods traffic. Never run it on a production switch.
