BUFfer

Shortest form: buf.

Check the MMU buffer configuration. The only sub-command is check. The built-in help shows buffer <object> [<attribute>=<value>] ..., but the shell accepts only buffer check. Anything else prints the help.

buffer check validates the MMU settings without changing them. Only Triumph 3 and first-generation Trident support it. On Trident 3 it does nothing: the shell prints an empty line and returns to the prompt. Safe.
