TMShow

TM config show

TMShow

Shortest form: tms.

Traffic-manager debug views of one port for Tomahawk 3: ingress buffers per priority group, egress buffers per queue, IDB buffers, and the queue scheduler. The command is present on Trident 3 builds too, but it only works on Tomahawk 3.

Warning

Do not run tmshow on a Trident 3 switch. It does not check the chip type. It runs Tomahawk 3 code against the TD3 unit, which can fail or crash syncd. On Tomahawk 3 it is read-only.

The sub-commands must be typed in full. <pbmp> is a port bitmap. The built-in help shows ing_buf_debug twice and leaves out the rest. The shell actually accepts ing_buf_debug, egr_buf_debug, idb_buf_debug and cosq_debug.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmshow
TMShow ing_buf_debug <pbmp> [<pri_grp>]

Print ingress buffer accounting for all priority groups, or for one. If the bitmap has several ports, each port after the first takes the next word as its priority group. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmshow ing_buf_debug xe0 7
TMShow egr_buf_debug <pbmp> [<queue>]

Print egress buffer accounting for all queues, or for one. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmshow egr_buf_debug xe0 3
TMShow idb_buf_debug <pbmp>

Print the IDB (OBM) buffer state of the port’s port macro. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmshow idb_buf_debug xe0
TMShow cosq_debug <pbmp>

Print the scheduler configuration of the port’s queues. Tomahawk 3 only; see the warning.

Unvalidated

drivshell> tmshow cosq_debug xe0
