PSCAN

Control uKernel port scanning.

PSCAN

Control port scanning (“pscan”) done by an application on the switch’s embedded microcontrollers, as opposed to the SDK’s own LINKscan.

Sub-commands are case-sensitive, must be typed in full in lower case, and need exactly the arguments shown; anything else prints the usage. <port> is a port number, not a port name. Numbers may be decimal or 0x hex. With no argument the command prints the usage. On a chip without microcontroller support the command fails without a message.

On a SONiC Trident 3 switch the microcontroller runs the LED and linkscan firmware, not a pscan application, so these commands may simply fail.

Every sub-command changes the state of the microcontroller application. It is not useful under SONiC; avoid it on a production switch.
