Detach SOC device(s)

DETach

Shortest form: det.

Detach switch devices from the SDK. With no argument the current unit (always 0 at the drivshell> prompt) is detached; otherwise each listed unit, in order, stopping at the first failure.

Warning

This tears down the SDK’s state for the unit while syncd is still using it. Expect syncd to fail or crash at its next SDK call. Never run it under SONiC.
