DmaRomTest

Simple test of the SOC DMA ROM API

DmaRomTest

Shortest form: drt.

Exercise the SDK’s minimal “DMA ROM” packet API, meant for boot code that runs before the full driver.

Warning

Do not use under syncd. init sets up the DMA ROM channels next to the ones the running SDK uses for packet I/O, tx floods a 100-byte broadcast test frame to every port, and rx takes a received packet away from the normal receive path.

The keywords are case-sensitive and cannot be abbreviated:

init

Initialise the DMA ROM API.

detach

Release it.

rx

Poll for one received packet and dump it (rx: …) or print no packet.

tx

Send the built-in test frame and print tx done in <n> polls.
