TXSTArt

Transmit one or more packets in background

TXSTArt

Shortest form: txsta.

Send packets like TX, but in a background thread, so the prompt returns at once. The arguments are the same as for TX, and so is the built-in help. Use TXCount to watch progress and TXSTOp to stop. Only one background transmission can run at a time; a second txstart prints <cmd>: Error: tx command running.

Like TX, txstart sends real traffic, for as long as it runs.

Unvalidated

drivshell> txstart 1000 PortBitMap=ce0 Length=64
TXSTArt show

Print the state of the SDK’s TX module, instead of starting a transmission. The built-in help does not mention this form. show must be written in full. It works only while no background transmission is running. Read-only.

drivshell> txstart show
