IPROCRead

Read from IPROC Area

IPROCRead

Shortest form: iprocr.

Read 32-bit words from the iProc address space (the ASIC’s embedded ARM subsystem, its SRAM and the CMIC and iProc registers) and print them, optionally also saving them to a binary file in the syncd container. Read-only, apart from registers whose read has side effects.

Grammar:

iprocread [ChangeEndian=0|1] <address> [<length>] [<file.bin>]

<length> is in words and defaults to 1. ChangeEndian=1 swaps the bytes of each word. The built-in help also shows [CoresGroup <n>], for devices made of several core groups; a Trident 3 is not one, and the option may be refused with CoresGroup is not supported for old devices.
