Set or display current date

Show the date and time of the switch, in syncd’s local time zone, as YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss <zone>. Read-only.

The built-in help says that date "YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss" sets the date. It does not: this build cannot set the clock. It prints Don't know how to set date on this platform (…) and fails. Use the host’s tools instead.

Built-in help

Parameters: "YYYY/MM/DD hh:mm:ss"
